How to add stamp holes ?

A number of PCB copies are gathered inside a panel; as many as the panel can fit. This action is called panelization. Now, to make de-panelization easy, cuts are made between the copies, and small contact areas are kept in the fiber. These areas have holes in them which are called stamp holes. I think it's called a stamp because it will leave an edge like the edge of a stamp when the boards are separated.

Rules of adding stamp holes

1. Size of stamp hole: It is recommended that 5 to 8 copper-free holes with a diameter of 0.60mm are a group (not recommended for stamp hole less than 5).

2. Stamp hole gap: 0.35-0.4mm gaps from the edge of the hole to the edge of the hole, at least to ensure the gap of 0.3mm to ensure sufficient connection strength (the thinner the board needs to increase the gap properly)
(Note: The reserved distance between each set of stamp holes and the stamp hole must be greater than the thickness of the PCB board. For example, the thickness of the board is 1.6mm, and the reserved area between the stamp holes is 0.3mm distance. . There are 6 reserved areas between 7 holes.)

3. Number of stamp hole groups: On PCB boards each side requires at least one group of stamp holes, adjust the number of groups according to the actual board size and device weight. It is recommended to add a set of stamp holes in the edge of each board by 40-60mm. Each board has at least one connection position, and at least three sides have connections.

4. Stamp hole position: Add to the center line of the board frame or extend to 1/3 of the board. As much as possible, the stamp holes and other attributes in the board, such as the pores, lines, installation holes, and extended components as 0.3 mm in the distance.

5. The gap between the panel: The gap between the PCB and the PCB is 1.2mm or 2mm. It is recommended to use a 1.6mm gap. Too close distance may cause a small number of stamp holes to increase the difficulty of the plate.

The remaining plates between the hole wall and the hole wall are called "connection sutras". The "connection meridian" in the middle of each stamp hole should not be less than the thickness of the plate.
